Rasheed Sulaimon has found a new home. Three months after being booted from Duke amid allegations of sexual assault, Sulaimon has announced that he will attend Maryland. Sulaimon is on track to graduate in early August, which means he'll be eligible to play from the Terrapins next season as a graduate transfer.
Dismissed Duke guard Rasheed Sulaimon is transferring to Maryland
This is a big get for the Terrapins.

Sulaimon will be expected to slide into the starting lineup at shooting guard next to sophomore Melo Trimble in the Terrapins' backcourt. With returning senior Jake Layman at small forward, five-star freshman Diamond Stone at center and talented Georgia Tech transfer Robert Carter at power forward, Maryland is expected to be among the preseason favorites next year.
Sulaimon became the first player Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski had ever kicked off the team in late January when two allegations of sexual assault surfaced. The Blue Devils would go to win the national championship even without him.

This will be Sulaimon’s final year of eligibility. He averaged 7.5 points, two rebounds and two assists per game last year for Duke. His scoring averages decreased in each of his final two years with the Blue Devils, but Sulaimon is still considered a quality outside shooter. He made over 40 percent of his 2.9 attempts per game from three-point range last season.
