Bridges is ESPN’s No. 7 recruit in a strong 2016 class.

ESPN has Bridges as the No. 7 recruit in a strong 2016 class. Hailing out of Huntington Prep in Flint, Michigan, the 6’7 lefty is an explosive wing whose versatility is a major asset. He can make plays off the dribble and is a solid passer, and while his jumper is streaky, there’s reason to believe he can find consistency.
Along with Bridges, Kentucky is in on several of the other top prospects in the Class of 2016, including Harry Giles, Jayson Tatum and Malik Monk. If John Calipari can land one or more of these players, it’ll be just another year of reloading in Lexington.
