5-star recruit Mustapha Heron commits to Auburn
Auburn nabs one of the top scoring wings in the class of 2016.

Rated as the No. 26 recruit in the class of 2016 by ESPN, the Sacred Heart High School (Waterbury, Conn.) is a big get for Auburn. Heron is an offensive powerhouse with the ability to force his way to the basket thanks to a a strong, broad frame.
A week ago, Heron told Jeff Borzello of ESPN that he wanted to visit all of the schools in his top five. Apparently one visit to Auburn changed that.
Heron joins two others in Auburn's recruiting class. Point guard Jared Harper and power forward Anfernee McLemore have already committed to Auburn.
Heron had committed to Pitt in January, but changed his mind in April. That opened the door for Auburn.
