5-star guard Terrance Ferguson commits to Alabama
This is one of the biggest recruits in program history for Alabama.

Ferguson was one of four high school players to make the gold medal winning USA Basketball U19 team this summer, joining the consensus top three recruits in the class of 2016 -- Harry Giles, Duke commit Jayson Tatum and Josh Jackson -- on the squad. Ferguson averaged 6.1 points in seven games during the tournament.
Ferguson is considered one of the most athletic guards in the class of 2016 while also projecting to be one of the best three-point shooters. He has great size for a shooting guard at 6’7, 183 pounds and can jump out of the gym.
Ferguson was considered one of the biggest risers this summer in his class.
Ferguson is Johnson’s first get in the class of 2016. Alabama has a four-man recruiting class coming in for 2015, led by 6’8 power forward Donta’ Hall and 6’5 shooting guard Kobie Eubanks.
