Dynamic 6’3 guard Malik Monk is one of the most sought after players in the class of 2016, and on Tuesday night he announced his final list of college choices. Monk is considering Oregon, Kansas, Kentucky, Arkansas, North Carolina and Florida State, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS. Monk will make the official announcement on his brother’s radio show later in the day.

Monk has scheduled four official visits this fall.


Monk will visit Oregon on September 18, Kansas on Oct. 9, Kentucky on Oct. 16 and Arkansas on Oct. 24. Arkansas and Kentucky are considered the heavy favorites. Monk’s trip to Kentucky will coincide with Big Blue Madness, while his visit to Arkansas will be for the Auburn football game.

Monk’s brother Marcus played football for the Razorbacks seven years ago. Last season, Arkansas’ entire basketball team was seen showing up to Monk’s high school games.
