While most of the attention in the college basketball world Monday was being heaped upon No. 1 (AP) Kansas vs. No. 1 (coaches) Oklahoma, North Carolina's Brice Johnson may have given the best individual performance of the season in the No. 6 Tar Heels' 106-90 win over Florida State.
Brice Johnson goes nuts in North Carolina’s win over Florida State
The senior forward did something that only two of the best basketball players in the world have done over the last two decades.

The senior forward connected on 14 of his 16 field goal attempts to finish with 39 points and 23 rebounds. Johnson became the first North Carolina player since 1976 to score at least 30 points and grab at least 20 rebounds. He’s also just fourth Tar Heel ever to achieve the feat.
Additionally, Johnson became only the third Division-I player in the last 20 seasons to score at least 35 points and snag at least 23 rebounds in a game. The other two? Kevin Durant and Blake Griffin.
Johnson's monster performance overshadowed 30-point efforts by both teammate Marcus Paige and Florida State's Xavier Rathan-Mayes.
