UCLA led Arizona by 13 points with 4:25 left, but the No. 7 Wildcats staged a huge comeback in the final minutes. Arizona big man Ryan Anderson tied the game with a free throw with 15 seconds left, but missed his second attempt for a chance to put the Wildcats ahead. UCLA had one more opportunity.
Bryce Alford hits game-winning 3 to save UCLA from a collapse vs. No. 7 Arizona
The coach’s kid saved UCLA on Thursday.

Steve Alford drew up the play for his son Bryce Alford, and the kid came through.
Alford’s clutch three gave UCLA its first conference win of the season and an upset victory over a top 10 team in the country.
