5-star guard Collin Sexton commits to Alabama
The 5-star guard has made his commitment to the Crimson Tide.

Sexton picked the Crimson Tide over the Kansas Jayhawks. The 6’2 guard also visited NC State and Oklahoma State. This is a huge commitment for Avery Johnson.
He is known for his rapid climb from unranked to one of the nation’s top recruits over the summer. After rigorous training to even make Team USA’s U17 team, Sexton became its MVP. He averaged 17 points per game on 57 percent shooting, four assists and four rebounds en route to a gold medal. He was also the leading scorer on Nike’s EYBL circuit by almost 10 points per game.
The recruit is also unique because he has no social media presence. He doesn’t own a Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Snapchat account. Classmates congratulated Sexton when it was announced online that he had been named a top-25 recruit, and he had no clue.
Sexton is currently projected to be the No. 7 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, according to Draft Express.
