Missouri-Xavier ended with basically the worst foul possible

No. 11 Xavier and Missouri played an undeniably ugly basketball game in Orlando on Thursday afternoon. The teams combined for 52 fouls and 28 turnovers as a banged up Musketeers team struggled to pull away from Mizzou.
The game went to overtime, where the Tigers suffered a heartbreaking loss with under one second left on the clock. In a tie game, Xavier was inbounding the ball at halfcourt with 0.9 remaining when Missouri fouled star Edmond Sumner. He split the free throws and gave X an 83-82 win.
Mizzou was hanging tough against a legit top-15 team all afternoon. Brutal way to lose.
