NCAA Tournament 2016 streaming: How to watch March Madness live online

Don’t let the madness pass you by if you can’t get to a television screen.

Friday's action in the 2016 NCAA Tournament will have a fair bit of work to do in the drama department to stage as good a second day as Thursday's March Madness premiere. But with lower seeds in play, it's possible.

Three of the four No. 6 vs. No. 11 games in the tournament’s first round will take place on Friday, as will all four No. 7 vs. No. 10 matchups. And if you want to see truly stunning upsets, all four No. 2s and three No. 3s will see the floor, too, so there’s potential for one of those long-odds underdogs to truly flip March Madness on its ear.

CBS, TBS, TNT, and truTV will be your destinations if you want to watch those games on television, but if you have to be away from the biggest screen, there are a host of small-screen streaming solutions available. The March Madness Live website will allow you to stream any game you’d like, though you may have to be very clever to switch between games without missing some action.

The March Madness Live app, available in both the App Store and the Google Play store, will allow the same streaming as well, in case you really like touching screens to switch volume or are the sort of unlucky soul who has to travel during the NCAA Tournament.

Here’s Friday’s March Madness schedule, all of which is available for online streaming.
