Arkansas-Little Rock vs. Iowa State 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

The Trojans will seek a second straight upset.

One of the darlings of the first day of the 2016 NCAA Tournament will get its shot at making the Sweet Sixteen on Saturday.

No. 12 Arkansas-Little Rock staged one of the two upsets by double-digit seeds on Thursday, vanquishing No. 5 Purdue, 85-83, in a double-overtime thriller. Diminutive Trojans senior Josh Hagins became a star in that game, pouring in 33 points on an array of difficult shots to lead Little Rock past the towering Boilermakers. The victory was Little Rock's first NCAA Tournament victory in 30 years, and gave the Trojans 30 wins on the year.

But Cinderella’s shoes alone won’t scare Iowa State, a veteran bunch that is looking to move on to the Sweet Sixteen in Steve Prohm’s first season in charge of the Cyclones. They handled Iona’s up-tempo assault even in the thinner Denver air on Thursday in the first round, taking a double-digit advantage in the game’s first 10 minutes and keeping it for much of the rest of the game en route to a 94-81 victory. Do-everything senior Georges Niang had 28 points in the victory, and will be hoping for the second trip to the NCAA Tournament’s second weekend of his decorated career.

The winner of Saturday’s game will move on to a Sweet Sixteen game against the winner of No. 1 Virginia and No. 9 Butler.
