NCAA Women’s basketball tournament 2016: Times, TV schedule and live stream for Monday

The NCAA Women’s Tournament picks up again on Monday with the conclusion of the second round. The nation’s most dominant team looks to continue its quest for glory.

No. 1 overall seed Connecticut had little trouble with its 16th-seeded opponent on Saturday. The Huskies steamrolled Robert Morris, 104-49, starting the game off with a staggering 41-4 run. Breanna Stewart filled up the stat sheet with 18 points, eight steals, five rebounds, four assists and three blocks, while Katie Lou Samuelson led the team with 22 points. The Huskies now take on No. 9 Duquesne, which defeated No. 8 Seton Hall, 97-76.

The other No. 1 seed in action on Monday is Notre Dame, which routed No. 16 North Carolina A&T 95-61 on Saturday. The Irish will be facing No. 9 Wisconsin, fresh off a 62-58 win over No. 8 Georgia.

If you’re looking for a Cinderella in this year’s tournament, No. 12 South Dakota State fits the bill. The Jackrabbits upset No. 5 Miami 74-71, and will try to keep their run going when they play No. 4 Stanford in the evening.

Television coverage will be the same as the first round -- local markets with teams in the tournament get to see their games in its entirety on ESPN2 (coverage maps can be found here) while the rest of the nation is treated to “whip-around” coverage. Every game is streamed live on WatchESPN.
