Printable NCAA bracket 2016: Elite Eight field is officially set

The regional finals are upon us. Get our new printable bracket fresh off the press.

And then there were eight. The Sweet 16 reached its conclusion on Friday, and we now know every matchup for the Elite Eight. You can follow the action on our updated printable bracket, available for download here.

There weren’t many surprises in Friday’s games, although there were a couple of entertaining comebacks. No. 6 Notre Dame was in real danger of getting Wisconsin’d, but the Irish rallied off an 8-0 run in the final minutes to get the 61-56 win. Mike Brey’s team is now in the Elite Eight for the second straight year. They’ll play North Carolina in the East regional final.

The other big comeback of the night was No. 10 Syracuse stunning No. 11 Gonzaga. The Bulldogs dominated most of the game and looked to have it put away late, but the Orange pulled off a comeback to get the 63-60 win. They’ll take on Virginia for the Midwest region title.

The other two games of the day weren’t particularly close. No. 1 Virginia kept No. 5 Iowa State at arm’s length in a solid 84-71 win, while No. 1 North Carolina ran No. 5 Indiana out of the building with the 101-86 rout. The Tar Heels now play Notre Dame and the Cavaliers will face No. 1 Kansas next.

There may be fewer games going on, but the NCAA Tournament is about to ramp up the intensity. Once again, you can grab a printable bracket here to follow along.

No. 1 Virginia 84, No. 5 Iowa State 71
No. 6 Notre Dame 61, No. 7 Wisconsin 56
