The only thing that seems to elicit more extreme and absolute opinions from the American public than politics these days are throwback or alternate sports uniforms.
Miami debuted throwback basketball uniforms and the internet hated them


Such was the case Thursday evening, when Miami sported a special adidas uniform designed to replicate those worn by the Hurricanes in the final three seasons before the program was disbanded from 1971-85.
The viewing public was not overly impressed.
