A win over Duke must be cherished, no matter how big of a tailspin the Blue Devils are currently in. NC State knows this as well as anyone. The Wolfpack hadn’t won a game at Duke in 22 years before they did it on Monday behind a brilliant performance from freshman Dennis Smith Jr.
NC State made T-shirts for beating Duke, who was ranked only No. 17
The parade is on Friday, we assume.

How is NC State celebrating? With T-shirts!
Here’s the description from the NC State bookstore:
Celebrate the Wolfpack Men’s first victory at Cameron since 1995 with this commemorative T-shirt. The printed shirt will show the actual final score of 84-82. The 100% cotton shirt in stunning Wolfpack Red is proudly printed in NC.
Now: Duke was ranked only No. 17 at the time. Does that really deserve a T-shirt? More importantly, why isn’t Smith’s dunk after the buzzer on this shirt?
Just make that the state flag already.
While we’re always in favor of any program celebrating a win over Duke, let’s not forget that NC State also lost to North Carolina by 51 points this season. Maybe they should put that final score on a flask.
