The AP Poll didn’t have Northwestern basketball’s logo, so the Wildcats provided it
The Wildcats are ranked for the first time since 2009-10.

The Wildcats check in at No. 25 in the polls this week, their first appearance in the rankings since 2009-10. Northwestern being a ranked team is so unexpected the AP didn’t even have the school’s logo on hand. The program’s Twitter account got salty about it:
Now: is it really that hard for the AP to find a picture of Northwestern’s logo? It shouldn’t be. But also: why does that Northwestern logo look like a sideways Z?
At 18-4 and 7-2 in the conference, Northwestern is putting itself in a great position to receive an at-large bid. The Wildcats will be tested over the next two weeks, with games against No. 23 Purdue, No. 10 Wisconsin and No. 17 Maryland on the schedule.
Win a couple of those games and no one will forget their logo.
