Cassius Stanley dunks harder than any high school sophomore has the right to

Meet California native Cassius Stanley, a five-star recruit who is turning heads with his explosive dunks.

Ricky O'Donnell
Ricky O'Donnell has covered basketball at all levels for more than a decade at SB Nation. He’s currently the Associate Director of Programming.

This is high school sophomore Cassius Stanley. Learn the name now because you’ll need to know it later:

Stanley plays for Harvard Westlake High School in North Hollywood and he’s already considered one of the class of 2019’s best players. He competed on Nike’s top EYBL circuit after his freshman year, playing next to the country’s No. 1 recruit DeAndre Ayton for Cal Supreme. Right now ESPN has him ranked No. 9 overall in his class.

The video above was taken by long-time NBA veteran Jason Collins, who also attended Harvard Westlake. It’s just one of several show-stopping plays Stanley had on the night. Watch the full highlights courtesy of Ball Is Life.

If you need more Cassius Stanley in your life, how’s this for a mixtape title:

9th Grader Cassius Stanley The BEST Athlete in HS Since Vince Carter!?
