Georgia Tech beat Northwestern on buzzer-beating layup in ACC-Big Ten Challenge

Josh Pastner Wig Night is lit. Georgia Tech basketball beat Northwestern, 52-51, on this buzzer-beater layup from senior guard Tadric Jackson. The win moves the Yellow Jackets to 4-1 on the season, while Northwestern might be in some trouble already at 4-3 on the season.

Northwestern trailed by as many as nine points in the second half, but stormed back behind senior guards Bryant McIntosh (18 points) and Vic Law (12 points). The Wildcats took the lead with seven seconds left on an offensive put-back by center Dererk Pardon before giving up the game-winner.

GT was led by Ben Lammers (13 points, six rebounds) and Jackson, who finished with 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
