The Colgate Raiders nearly pulled off one of the most memorable last-second wins of the college basketball season, but after replay review the game-winner was disallowed, giving the Marist Red Foxes the win.
Colgate halfcourt game-winning shot disallowed in loss to Marist

After erasing a 19-point deficit in the second half, Colgate briefly took the lead but found itself down four points in the final seconds. Jordan Burns hit a jump shot to pull the Raiders to within 78-76, then Sean O’Brien stole the inbound pass at midcourt and made what he thought was a miraculous game-winner.
But upon further review the shot was ruled too late with the ball still in O’Brien’s hand as the clock hit zero.
Brian Parker led Marist in the win with 16 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and dished out four assists. Tobias Sjoberg grabbed a team-high nine boards and added 14 points for the Red Foxes.
Will Rayman scored 17 to lead Colgate in defeat. O’Brien had 13, and nearly had 16.
