Luka Doncic put up a career night in front of NBA scouts

He’s poised to go as a top lottery pick in the 2018 draft.

Potential No. 1 pick, Luka Doncic, scored a career-high 33 points on 21 shots, and had six rebounds and four assists in an overtime loss to Olympiacos. His opponents included a number of former American college and pro basketball players like Hollis Thompson, Kyle Wiltjer, and Brian Roberts.

Here’s some video, which shows Doncic finish through contact, and pull-up from seemingly anywhere.

He made 8-of-12 on two-point attempts, and 4-of-9 from three. He also turned the ball over just once in 38 minutes. All stats from the game can be seen here.

Reporter David Pick said that scouts from the Lakers, Nuggets, Hawks and Wizards were in attendance to see Doncic’s career night.

This came just 24 hours before maybe Doncic’s top competition for the top selection, Marvin Bagley, suffered an upset loss at the hands of Boston College. Bagley still had a solid 15-point, 12-rebound night.

In SB Nation’s most recent mock draft, reporter Ricky O’Donnell has Doncic slotted at No. 1 overall.
