The No. 4 Baylor Bears will look to avenge an earlier loss this season on Saturday when they host the No. 3 Kansas Jayhawks at the Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas.

Baylor tries to snap a 9-game losing streak to Kansas in this top-5 matchup of Big 12 contenders

CBS will televise the second top-five matchup between the two Big 12 rivals, and the 1 p.m. ET contest can be streamed online through CBSSports.com.
Kansas (22-3, 11-2) and Baylor (22-4, 9-4) are ranked first and second in the conference, and a win by the Jayhawks on Saturday would give them a three-game lead with four to play, plus the tiebreaker over Baylor thanks to a 73-68 win at home at Allen Fieldhouse on Feb. 1. Kansas has won the last 12 regular season Big 12 conference titles, the second-longest streak in NCAA history.
But a win by Baylor — who is 14-1 at home this season — would pull it to within a game of Kansas, a real threat to snap that string of Big 12 titles. The Bears started the season 20-1, but they have lost three of their last five games.
Johnathan Motley had 16 points and 10 rebounds for Baylor in that Feb. 1 loss against Kansas, right near his season averages of 16.7 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. He’ll need another strong game on Saturday for Baylor to pull off the win.
Jayhawks leading scorer Frank Mason III, averaging 20.2 points per game on the season, scored 19 in the earlier win over Baylor, but on just 3-of-12 shooting from the field.
Kansas has beaten Baylor in each of their last nine meetings and is 28-4 against the Bears all-time, including 11-2 in Waco.
Ian Eagle will call the play-by-play for CBS, alongside analyst Bill Raftery.
