The Gonzaga Bulldogs remain at the top of the polls for a second straight week after another frantic weekend in college basketball shook up the rankings. The Zags moved to 24-0 after wins over BYU and Santa Clara with a showdown against No. 20 St. Mary’s waiting on Saturday. Is this the year Mark Few finally gets to the Final Four?

Baylor, last week’s No. 2, has fallen to No. 6 after back-to-back losses to Kansas and Kansas State. Villanova is the new No. 2, with Kansas at No. 3 and Louisville at No. 4.

While Villanova won out last week, it was a rough weekend for two other acclaimed programs that go by the Wildcats. Kentucky was crushed by Florida and fell from No. 8 to No. 15. Arizona was leveled by Oregon and fell from No. 5 to No. 10.

The Ducks rose to No. 5 after blasting Arizona, setting the stage for a Pac-12 showdown on Thursday against No. 10 UCLA. Thursday’s schedule also features No. 8 North Carolina vs. No. 18 Duke.
