Arizona called the pettiest timeout ever up 11 points with 0.9 seconds left against UCLA
Sean Miller isn’t playing.

We have coach beef in the Pac-12. As Arizona was running out the clock on an 86-75 win over UCLA in the Pac-12 tournament, coach Sean Miller called a timeout with 0.9 seconds left.
Why? Miller was apparently getting payback for their last meeting, when UCLA coach Steve Alford called a timeout with two seconds left while up five. Here’s the play-by-play from the Bruins’ 77-72 win on Feb. 25:
This upset Alford and the two coaches appeared to discuss it in the post-game handshake line.
Alford addressed it with the media after the game, too:
Miller acknowledged that Alford’s late timeout earlier this season was on his mind when he stopped the clock with less than a second left, up 11.
Nothing like a good revenge timeout. Arizona now faces Oregon for the Pac-12 tournament title.
