Let them eat steak! If the Kentucky Wildcats win the NCAA men’s basketball championship this year, all UK faculty and students are entitled to a free steak from Malone’s Steakhouse.
Kentucky restaurant chain claps back at NKU, offers free steak to students if Wildcats win title

Malone’s is a chain in Kentucky owned by Bluegrass Hospitality Group, which also owns some other local chains.
As said in the press release, this is a direct response to Jeff Ruby offering NKU students free steak if they beat Kentucky on Friday.
Although this is a safer bet by BHG than if they were to offer the steaks simply for beating NKU, that’s still more than 30,000 steaks they would have to provide.
Basically, the press release says it all. Will Kentucky win, though?
I’m not one to speculate on bracketology; I once filled mine out based on the toughness of mascots. However, Kentucky is 29-5. I’ll let you make your own predictions on which, if any, Kentuckians get the steak.
