Can the Musketeers advance further after a first-round upset?

The No. 3 seed Florida State Seminoles faced the No. 14 Florida Gulf Coast Eagles in the East Region from Orlando, with both teams benefiting from getting a matchup close to their home arenas. Although the Eagles made NCAA tournament history in 2013 as the first-ever 15 seed to reach the Sweet 16, Florida State didn’t have plans to get upset. The ‘Noles led 40-36 at halftime, and continued to control things in the second half. Although FGCU kept things relatively close, the ‘Noles won, 86-80. FSU’s Dwayne Bacon finished with 25 points and nine defensive rebounds.
Vegas thinks this one will be pretty close, listing Florida State as just a 6-point favorite according to OddsShark.
