CIT 2017 schedule: Start times and live stream info for Monday

Three more games are on Monday, with winners advancing to the CIT quarterfinals

The second round of the College Insider Tournament continues on Monday with three more games on hand to determine who goes on to the quarterfinals.

Three top-remaining seeds — the Furman Paladins, Fort Wayne Mastodons, and Saint Peter’s Peacocks — earned byes to the quarterfinals, while the UMBC Retrievers earned their trip with an 87-79 win against Saint Francis on Saturday.

The Liberty Flames won the Coach John Mclendon Classic last Monday, beating the Norfolk State Spartans, 73-64. Junior guard/forward Ryan Kemrite scored 30 points on 9-of-13 shooting in the win to earn MVP honors. Liberty’s reward for that win was a home game in the second round, hosting the Samford Bulldogs.

The nightcap on Monday features the Weber State Wildcats on the road against the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders. The Wildcats earned a berth in the second round with an 80-76 win over the Cal State Fullerton Titans on Thursday in the Riley Wallace Classic.

There will be one more CIT second-round game left on Wednesday between the Idaho Vandals and Texas State Bobcats.

All CIT games on Monday will be streamed on Facebook Live.

CIT Monday schedule (all times Eastern)

7 p.m. - UT Martin Skyhawks at Campbell Fighting Camels

7:05 p.m. - Samford at Liberty

8 p.m. - Weber State at Texas A&M Corpus Christi
