West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins was extremely monotone and understandably upset after his team’s 61-58 loss to Gonzaga in the Sweet 16. He sort of looked like a zombie.
Bob Huggins looked like a literal zombie after West Virginia lost to Gonzaga
Welp.

Huggins was asked if he thought that a delay where referees took nearly seven minutes to decide on a call affected the game. He muttered “I don’t know. ... I honestly don’t know what the answer to that is.”
Most of the rest of the short interview went the same. It’s always brutal to watch a coach talk about how his entire season came to a shocking close just minutes prior, but this game ended in an especially dramatic fashion.
The Mountaineers had 38 seconds to make up a three-point deficit, but forced up three consecutive three-point chucks, which weren’t close off two offensive rebounds.
Frustratingly enough for Huggins and his team, they had the No. 1 seed pinned to the floor, but weren’t able to deliver the finishing blow. The Mountaineers forced 16 Gonzaga turnovers, held Nigel Williams-Gross to 10 points on 2-of-10 shooting and the Bulldogs missed 11 of their 32 free throw attempts.
