TCU vs. Georgia Tech, NIT 2017: Game time, TV schedule for the championship

The game will air on ESPN. Georgia Tech is coming off a huge victory against CSU Bakersfield, 76-61, in the semifinals. Freshman guard Josh Okogie scored a game-high 22 points and corralled nine rebounds, and center Ben Lammers pitched in with 15 points and 11 boards.
Not only did the Yellow Jackets score at ease, they took care of the ball in the process, only surrendering seven turnovers in the game. On defense, Georgia Tech forced 15 turnovers, which led to 18 of its 76 points.
Tadric Jackson, who scored 12 points for Georgia Tech, connected on a running three-pointer at the buzzer to give his team a 36-26 lead at halftime. The Yellow Jackets’ offense and stifling defense were too much for CSU.
TCU, on the other hand, knocked off UCF, 68-53, to advance to the NIT Finals. Junior guard Kenrich Williams was a stat-sheet stuffer in that game, racking up 14 points to go along with 14 rebounds and seven assists. Forward Vladimir Brodziansky chipped in with 18 points and nine boards.
The Horned Frogs trailed at halftime, but JD Miller’s three layups and a free throw in the second half ignited a 16-5 run to give TCU the 45-36 lead. Not only did TCU go on an offensive barrage in the second half, it played stifling defense, especially on the perimeter.
UCF shot 33 percent from the field and missed 19 of its 25 attempts from beyond the arch.
Georgia Teach and TCU can both score the ball from anywhere on the court and play smothering defense. This game could come down to who has the last offensive possession of the game.
