Gonzaga’s Zach Collins enters NBA draft, becomes one-and-done without ever starting a game
Collins broke out in the 2017 NCAA tournament.

Collins is heading to the NBA without ever starting a college game. He’s also the first one-and-done in program history for Gonzaga.
Collins was one of the breakout players of the NCAA tournament in the Bulldogs run to the national championship game. He played the best game of his career in the Final Four game against South Carolina, finishing with 14 points, 13 rebounds, and six blocks.
Before his strong play in the tournament, many believed Collins could return for his sophomore season. Now it’s possible he’ll be a lottery pick in June. Collins is projected to go No. 12 overall in the latest mock draft by SB Nation.
Collins ends his lone season of college basketball averaging 10 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game. He also made 10 of his 21 attempts from three-point range on the season.
