LaMelo Ball is back in the spotlight. The youngest Ball brother took the court this weekend for the opening of college basketball’s July evaluation period and turned in an instantly memorable performance.
LaMelo Ball missed a dunk by two feet
LaMelo Ball came up juuuuust a little short on this dunk attempt.

Ball dropped 50 points on 56 shots (!) in his first game of the day. He followed that up with a 51-point effort. Most importantly, LaMelo gave us this beautiful missed dunk:
That is perfectly relatable. Monday mornings got me like [LaMelo Ball comes up a two feet short on terrible dunk attempt]. It’s basically the gift that keeps on giving.
Remember: LaMelo is already committed to UCLA. He’s ranked as the No. 18 player in the class of 2019 by Rivals.

Zion Williamson might be the best show in high school basketball, but LaMelo Ball is fascinating in his own right. This won’t be the last you hear from him this summer.
