NCAA basketball rankings 2018: Michigan State tumbles after loss to Michigan
Villanova is No. 1 in the polls for a second week in a row, while the Spartans fall to No. 9.

Villanova is followed by No. 2 Virginia, No. 3 Purdue, No. 4 Oklahoma, and No. 5 Duke. The Wildcats play Georgetown and UConn, both on the road, this week.
Oklahoma makes the biggest jump within the top 10 this week, going from No. 9 to No. 4 after a thrilling overtime victory over TCU (who falls from No. 16 to No. 24) on Saturday. Trae Young did it again, this time pouring in 43 points and making 10 three-pointers in the win.
Michigan State drops from No. 4 to No. 9 this week. The Spartans have some real problems right now. MSU has lost two of its last three, and needed overtime for that win against Rutgers. Michigan, which knocked off the Spartans on Saturday, debuts in the polls at No. 23 this week.
Ohio State is the only other new team in this week’s AP Poll.
