Kansas’ Udoka Azubuike dunks on West Virginia, gets hit with bogus technical foul for staring down opponent
This is a weak technical foul call on the Jayhawks after a great dunk.

Kansas center Udoka Azubuike is one of the strongest players in the country. West Virginia found that out the hard way when Azubuike unleashed this powerful two-handed slam on WVU’s Maciej Bender in the first half of their Big Monday showdown on ESPN.
Only one problem: Azubuike was hit with a technical foul for staring down the Mountaineers after the slam. Kansas fans weren’t happy about it, especially when Azubuike picked up a second foul minutes later and had to exit the game. Many people agreed:
It was easy to spot the hypocrisy later in the game, too, when West Virginia’s Sagaba Konate taunted after a big block:
This was a weak call on Azubuike. The Big 12 refs have to be better.
