Marvin Bagley III has many talents: unstoppable inside scorer, tenacious rebounder, freak athlete. Add another one to the list: Bagley is now his own personal medical trainer.
Duke star Marvin Bagley III popped his own shoulder back into place against Miami
Bagley returned to finish with 13 points and 12 rebounds.

The Duke star injured his shoulder in the opening minutes of the Blue Devils’ Monday night comeback win against Miami. As he exited the game, Bagley was unable to move his shoulder. So he did what any sensible 18-year-old would do: He popped it back in himself.
“I didn’t want to move it because I was kind of scared it was going to hurt bad, so as I was walking I kind of moved it up and it kind of went back in,” Bagley said. “I started moving it around and the trainers told me to come to the back and they just checked it out to see if it was anything. I was doing everything good, came back out and finished the game.”
What’s amazing is Bagley only missed about five minutes of game time. Duke’s trainers examined him in the locker room and quickly determined whatever he did left him good to go.
Bagley finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds, which counts as an off night for him. Duke still stormed back, erasing a double-digit second half deficit to steal a road win against the Hurricanes.
As Duke has proven all year, you can get the Blue Devils down, but it’s hard to put them out. Same goes for their freshman phenom.
