If you don’t know who Zion Williamson is by now, you live under a rock among microbial organisms hundreds of meters below sea level, far away from electricity, let alone a WiFi connection. In short, there are no excuses for you not to be familiar with the high-school basketball phenom from Spartanburg, S.C.

The 6’6, 275-pound Williamson emerged onto the scene last season with his rim-rattling dunks that show little to no regard for human life. Zion’s jump shot is a question mark, but he uses sheer, brute strength to bully defenders and finish at the rim. It’s earned him over 1 million Instagram followers.

Now in his senior year in high school, the time has come for him to make a decision.

Williamson is the second-ranked recruit in the ESPN Top 100 Class of 2018, just below R.J. Barrett and ahead of Cam Reddish and Bol Bol. He is one of just three top-15 recruits in his class yet to commit to a college.

Williamson has Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina, Clemson, and South Carolina as his finalists before he announces on Saturday night. And after watching his highlight reel, odds are Williamson’s future is secure, no matter where he signs.
