On Tuesday night, No. 5 Kansas lost a heartbreaker to Oklahoma in large part because sophomore center Udoka Azubuike missed six straight free throws as the Sooners intentionally fouled him during crunch time.
Kansas fan crashes basketball dorm offering free-throw advice
The police had to be called to McCarthy Hall.

On Wednesday afternoon, a fan entered Kansas’ fancy basketball dorm offering unsolicited “free-throw advice,” according to the Lawrence Journal-World.
Police were called to McCarthy Hall, but the man had fled the scene by the time they arrived. No charges were filed, but there are reports the same man showed up at the dorm several times before police were called.
Kansas is shooting only 69.7 percent from the foul line this season as a team, which ranks No. 220 in DI. Azubuike is the biggest culprit as one of the worst free-throw shooters in college basketball. He’s just 24-of-63 (38.1 percent) from the line this season.
Coach Bill Self hinted after the game he regretted leaving Azubuike in the game during crunch time as the Sooners continued to hack him:
Azubuike does not need any advice on how to shoot from the field. He’s leading college basketball with a 77.4 percent field goal percentage on the season.
Kansas plays Texas A&M on Saturday. No unsolicited free-throw advice necessary.
