Pitt basketball made a tribute video for Mac Miller and it’s perfect
The Panthers already have their first win of the season with this video.

The good news for Pitt basketball is that things can’t get much worse. The Panthers went 0-18 in the ACC last year and subsequently fired head coach Kevin Stallings. Jeff Capel is in charge now, coming to the program with a reputation as one of the best recruiters in the sport. The climb up from rock bottom begins this season.
Say this for Pitt: before Capel’s first campaign in charge begins in earnest, we can already say the Panthers have done one thing right. Pitt released this hype video as a tribute to Mac Miller over the weekend. It’s absolutely perfect.
Miller tragically passed away at age 26 last month, but not before leaving behind a legacy in his hometown of Pittsburgh. He was beloved with young rap fans and basketball players alike, as shown by his friendship with Karl-Anthony Towns. Miller meant a lot to a lot of people, and this video is a touching way to honor his impact.
It’s also just a lot of fun to watch Pitt players dance to Miller’s hit “Party on Fifth Ave.” Watch the original video below:
