Virginia basketball wins Battle 4 Atlantis 2018 over Wisconsin. Here’s how it happened
The Cavaliers are the champs at the Battle 4 Atlantis.

The ‘Hoos outlasted No. 25 Wisconsin 53-46 on Friday afternoon in the title game. It caps a three-game run for Virginia that also included victories over Middle Tennessee State and Dayton.
De’Andre Hunter was the star for Virginia throughout the tournament. He put up a team-high 20 points and nine rebounds on 8-of-14 shooting from the field against the Badgers. Hunter was ACC Sixth Man of the Year last season and missed Virginia’s historic NCAA Tournament loss to 16th-seeded UMBC with a broken hand. He is a potential lottery pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
The Badgers acquitted themselves well even with the loss to Virginia in the final. Wisconsin beat Florida and Oklahoma to get to the title game, proving that they’re back after missing the big dance last season. Greg Gard’s team is much healthier than last season, with guards D’Mitric Trice and Kobe King giving Wisconsin reason for optimism as the long goes along.
Here’s how we got to Virginia’s championship win in the Battle 4 Atlantis.
