College basketball’s postseason is still a few weeks away, but the madness is ahead of schedule in the Patriot League.
Bucknell erases 10-point deficit in under a minute, wins at the buzzer
The best finish of Monday night went down in the Patriot League.

While everybody was paying attention to Notre Dame-North Carolina on ESPN Monday night, there was a classic finish happening on the CBS Sports Network between the Colgate Raiders and Bucknell Bison.
Coming into the contest, Bucknell had a commanding three-game lead in the conference standings over Colgate, a team it beat, 63-51, earlier this season. With that being the case, the Raiders were out for revenge on the Bison at their place on Monday.
For most of the night it looked like they would get it.
With 55 seconds to play in the game, Colgate held a seemingly insurmountable 61-51 lead. Bucknell then did the unthinkable, ending the game on a 14-3 run that was capped off with a game-winning three-pointer from junior guard Kimbal MacKenzie.
It was perfect execution by the Bison, who continued to fight until the end and did not panic in the closing minutes. For Colgate, this was a deflating loss against the only team currently ahead of it in the Patriot League standings.
It wouldn’t be a shock to see these two teams play again for the right to go to the NCAA tournament.
