Mississippi State and Baylor gave us the most lit game of the NIT, complete with a crazy buzzer-beater
There’s exciting basketball happening in the NIT, too.


The opening weekend of the NCAA tournament has featured some amazing finishes. We got back-to-back game-winners from Loyola, and a true buzzer-beater from Michigan. That said, you can make a good case the best finish of March came in the NIT.
Mississippi State and Baylor played a thriller on Sunday afternoon. It concluded with a go-ahead bucket from Baylor’s Manu Lecomte with four seconds left, followed by a game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer by Mississippi State’s Quinndary Weatherspoon.
