This is what March Madness is all about. In a low-scoring first half between Syracuse and Michigan State with a chance at the Sweet Sixteen on the line, the Spartans nailed a three-pointer at the buzzer in pretty dope fashion.
This Michigan State player alley-ooped his own buzzer-beating 3-pointer off a blocked shot. Let me explain
BRUH.

Inside five seconds, Michigan State’s Matt McQuaid tried a three-pointer, got his own offensive rebound, and put it back up in midair -- he nailed it, too!
Obviously the most impressive part about all of this is that he was virtually jumping in the air when he threw this up, but it’s all great. To break this down:
1. McQuaid’s shot gets blocked
2. McQuaid proceeds to get his own offensive rebound
3. McQuaid then just screams YOLO and throws it up as he’s still coming down from that rebound
4. He banks it in!
The shot sent Sparty to the locker room with a three-point lead.
We’ve had some incredible buzzer-beaters in the tournament so far in the opening rounds, but this one is certainly up there, for sure.
