After a thrilling opening weekend of the NCAA Tournament we are now down to the Sweet 16, which begins on Thursday. Television times and broadcast assignments for the next round of the tournament were announced on Sunday night.

The South Region has featured the bulk of the carnage with none of the four top seeds in the region surviving past the second round, the first time that has ever happened. The latest victim was No. 2 Cincinnati, who blew a 22-point lead on Sunday in losing to No. 7 Nevada.

The darling of the South is No. 11 Loyola-Chicago, who treated Sister Jean to close wins over Miami and Tennessee Volunters. The Ramblers get to face Nevada on Thursday night at Phillips Arena in Atlanta (7:07 p.m., CBS).

The other No. 11 seed still alive is Syracuse, who battle No. 2 Duke in the Midwest Region from Omaha on Friday (9:37 p.m., CBS).

The Sweet 16 games on Thursday and Friday will be televised by CBS and TBS, with online streaming available through NCAA March Madness Live.
