UConn women’s basketball has a commit who can dunk. Sorry to your team.

Olivia Nelson-Ododa threw down at the McDonald’s All-American dunk contest!

UConn is headed to the Final Four for the 11th straight year after beating South Carolina in the Elite Eight Monday night. They went 9-of-10 in the first half from behind the three-point line. It’s hard enough to beat UConn on a regular night, but when they’re shooting 90 percent? Forget about it.

Oh and next year? They have a recruit coming in who dunks maybe easier than any female we’ve ever seen before. Meet Olivia Nelson-Ododa.

The moment is reminiscent of Candace Parker, who dunked at the same event in 2004. Plenty of women have been able to dunk throughout the years, but this dunk from Nelson-Ododa is quite smooth.

Nelson-Ododa is a 6’4 forward from Winder, Georgia. She averaged a team-high 12.0 points and 9.4 rebounds with Team USA at the 2016 FIBA U17 World Championship in Spain. She’s also a McDonald’s All-American and a five-star recruit, ready to be a part of the continued UConn dynasty.
