WAC Tournament 2018: Bracket, schedule, scores, teams, and more

The 2018 WAC Basketball Tournament returns to the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas for the eighth year in a row. The tournament will be held March 7-10, and will include all eight men’s teams.

The Stakes

New Mexico State won the No. 1 seed, after going 12-2 in conference play. The No. 2 seed went to Utah Valley, who finished 10-4 in the conference on the season. The rest of the field includes No. 3 Grand Canyon, No. 4 Seattle, No. 5 UT Rio Grand Valley, No. 6 Missouri-Kansas City, No. 7 Cal State Bakersfield, and No. 8 Chicago State.

The Format

The tournament has eight teams, and they all play in the first round — which is technically a quarterfinal round. The tournament is single-elimination.
