Nick Davidson, an excellent offensive tackle recruit out of Eden Prairie (Mn.) High School has committed to the Stanford Cardinal. Davidson is an elite recruit, holding offers from Stanford, Clemson, Colorado, Duke, Maryland, Minnesota, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Ohio State, Oregon, South Carolina and Virginia Tech.

Davidson’s father is the offensive line coach for the Minnesota Vikings, and it shows. And both his father and grandfather were captains on the offensive line for Ohio State. To say that Davidson has football in his blood would be an understatement.

Growing up in a football family should help Davidson to quickly pick up the game. But his skills aren’t just about knowledge. At 6’6” and 285 pounds, Davidson has a lean frame and moves very well. And although he is lean, he does have room to add another 20 or 30 pounds.

The recruiting services universally regard Davidson as a four-star recruit and one of the better offensive tackles in the country.
