Magee is 6’6” and 290 pounds. He is rated four or five stars by the major recruiting services, and is widely considered one of the best 10 defensive tackles in the country.

Magee plays defensive end and tight end for his high school, which makes an evaluation at defensive tackle a bit difficult. His size and length is evident, and he moves very well. I would like to see how Magee does playing on the interior and taking on blocks from different directions, as opposed to always playing on the edge. Still, Magee is very effective at defensive end, and should be able to transition to the three-technique tackle spot with relative ease. He does seem to be more of a guy that is more fast than quick, which isn’t always desirable in a defensive tackle. Offensive tackle could also be an option if defense doesn’t work out.

Magee looked athletic at U.S. Army All-American Bowl practices, and came away with wins against some of the top offensive linemen in the country. Magee is 6’6” and 290 pounds.
