Kwon Alexander is one of the best linebacker recruits in the country. Starring for Oxford (AL), Alexander has been on the radar of recruiting experts since his sophomore season, earning a four-star rating from most recruiting services. And he’s narrowed his college choices to the schools that have won four of the last five national titles -- LSU, Auburn and Alabama:

Kwon Alexander is closing in on a decision.
“Alabama is a great school with a hard-nosed defense and great coaches,” Alexander told 247Sports.com. “Auburn is a good school and a good atmosphere. It’s like family out there. LSU has good players, it’s a good school and a nice place.”
Alexander has already taken official visits to Auburn, LSU and Florida. He said he will try to schedule an official visit to Alabama this month but hasn’t scheduled a trip.
“It will come down to trusting the coaches and how cool the strength and conditioning is,” Alexander said. “Also, a place that feels like family.”
One interesting development in his recruitment is Auburn’s hire of defensive coordinator Brian VanGorder. VanGorder’s reputation as a recruiter and developer of defenders is stellar from his days with the University of Georgia.
Alexander has been recovering from a torn ACL, and some Auburn insiders believe that the Tigers will land him because Auburn continued to pursue him equally as hard after the injury as it had before.
