DeVante Harris, one of the top cornerback prospects in the country, has committed to the Texas A&M Aggies. “Officially committed to Texas A&M University,” Harris tweeted. Harris is son of former A&M wide receiver Rod Harris. Harris stars for Horn High School (Mesquite, Tx.). He holds multiple SEC, Big XII and ACC offers.
DeVante Harris Commits To Texas A&M Aggies
The Aggies grab an excellent cornerback legacy.
He is rated four-stars by most major services, and all evaluators rank him as one of the top 15 corners in the country. The 5’10”, 160-pound Harris possesses a lot of good attributes for a cornerback recruit. The best part of Harris’ game? Quickness. Harris might not possess world-class speed, but he reaches top gear faster than just about anyone else in this class. This is an excellent pickup for Texas A&M.
He was previously committed to the Oklahoma Sooners, but recently decommitted. Harris had planned to visit Texas Tech as well, but recently cancelled the visit to Lubbock.
