Colin Blake, a talented defensive back recruit from San Antonio Brandeis High School, has decommitted from the Texas A&M Aggies. Blake released this statement from his public Facebook page:

The tall defensive back is no longer considering the Aggies
”I will no longer be playing football at Texas A&M next year. I hope all the aggie fans and supporters out there can respect my decision and understand that it’s my life and I need to do whats best for me. God bless.“Blake had committed to Texas A&M on September 3rd, 2011, but his commitment was to since-fired Mike Sherman’s staff.
The rangy defensive back (6’3” 185”) holds more than fifteen offers from BCS conference schools. He is rated four stars by most of the national recruiting services, and is widely considered one of the top 30 defensive backs in the country. Blake is also considering Oklahoma, Florida State and TCU. Blake visited the Sooners on December 16th, the ‘Noles on January 13th and is visiting the Horned Frogs this weekend.
