Texas Tech is bringing in help at defensive tackle and receiver. The Red Raiders still need another running back.
Dalton Santos Decommits From Tennessee & Commits To Texas

Dalton Santos Recruit Santos is a prototypical middle linebacker recruit. He is very big (6’2” and 240 pounds), loves to hit, but isn’t so stiff as to be a major liability in coverage. Santos plays with excellent physicality and passion, and is very fun to watch in person, as I recently had the chance to do at the Under Armour All-America Game. He is rated a four-star recruit by most recruiting services. Texas is the only school to have commitments from more than 20 high school recruits and still have more than 75 percent be rated as blue chippers (four-stars or better).

It’s hard for me to narrow this down to just a handful of players because I do think that there is so much need at just about every position. Again, I’m in the camp that thinks that while there was/is some talent deficiency at Texas Tech, there’s also been some bad coaching too, but I do think there needs to be a talent upgrade for a lot of spots. It would be tough to argue that the defensive line position and the receiver position offer some significant upgrades in talent.
