The top high school football players in the country will be on display in the 2012 U.S. Army All-American Bowl at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday.
U.S. Army All-American Bowl 2012: Game Time, TV Schedule And More
The 2012 U.S. Army All-American Bowl will be played on Saturday afternoon.
Kickoff is scheduled for 1pm ET on NBC.
Headlining the East roster is quarterback Gunner Kiel from Columbus, Indiana. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Kiel has passed for nearly 7,500 yards with 89 touchdowns over the last three seasons and committed to Les Miles and the Louisiana St. Tigers late last month.
Another player to watch is wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham, who was named the 2012 U.S. Army Player of the Year. Green-Beckham set the national career receiving yards record with 6,447 and finished the 2011 season with 119 catches for 2,234 yards and 24 touchdowns. The 6-foot-6, 220-pound wideout has not committed to a program, but the Alabama Crimson Tide, Arkansas Razorbacks, Missouri Tigers, Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns comprise his Top 5.
The Michigan Wolverines and Oklahoma Sooners each have a game-high commits and several players, including Barry J. Sanders, will announce their commitments during the game. Sanders. is choosing between the Stanford Cardinal and the Oklahoma St. Cowboys, his Hall of Fame father's alma mater. Sanders. has made up his mind and The Oklahoman reports that it's believed that he has chosen Stanford.
"I am looking forward to (announcing)," Sanders said. "It is just the place that I felt most comfortable at. I think it’s the right place, and every day I feel comfortable with it."
